This is a guide for setting up a deluge-web seed box on Debian. h2. Prepare the Environment * Make sure the system is up to date: <pre> sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade </pre> h2. Install Deluge * Install deluge: <pre> sudo apt install deluged deluge-web </pre> * Edit the deluge config: <pre> sudo nano /var/lib/deluged/config/core.conf </pre> #* And modify the following: <pre> "allow_remote": True, </pre> * Edit the deluge defaults config: <pre> sudo nano /etc/default/deluged </pre> #* And modify the following: <pre> ENABLE_DELUGED=1 </pre> * Start and enable deluge at boot: <pre> sudo systemctl enable deluged sudo systemctl start deluged </pre> * Create a deluge-web systemd unit: <pre> sudo nano /etc/systemd/system/deluge-web.service </pre> #* And add the following: <pre> [Unit] Description=Deluge Web UI After=deluged.service [Service] ExecStart=/usr/bin/deluge-web -d [Install] WantedBy=default.target </pre> * Edit the deluge config: <pre> sudo nano /var/lib/deluged/config/core.conf </pre> #* And modify the following: <pre> "allow_remote": True, </pre> * Start and enable deluge-web at boot: <pre> sudo systemctl daemon-reload sudo systemctl restart deluged sudo systemctl enable deluge-web sudo systemctl start deluge-web </pre>
