Description

Since Windows Server 2012 doesn't have a GUI and updated still need to be applied, this is a simple guide on how to upgrade a Windows Server 2012 Core machine.

  • Open sconfig:
    sconfig
    • Select option 6
    • Select all to search all updates, or only recommended.
  • When the updates appear select A to install all updates
  • Once downloaded, it should say installing updates
  • Restart the server:
    shutdown /r /t 00
