Description

This is a guide for installing OSX Snow Leopard, using iATKOS S3, in a VirtualBox guest; I am using Arch Linux for the host, however any version of VirtualBox should work. This guide assumes that a copy of iATKOS S3 has been downloaded already.

Create the VM

  • Start by opening VirtualBox and create a new 64-bit OSX VM.
  • Open the VM settings, then in the System section make sure to uncheck the Enable EFI box.
  • In the VM settings, go to the Storage section and mount the iATKOS ISO; then start the VM.
