Feature #858
Output Smartphone Audio Over Bluetooth to a PC on Arch
Description
This is a simple setup for using bluetooth to play audio from a smartphone, in my case android, to a desktop running Arch Linux.
NOTE: This guide requires that the pavucontrol installed as well as the bluetooth service installed and running.
- Pair the smartphone to the Arch Linux desktop.
- Open pavucontrol and go to Configuration.
- From the Configuration section, select the profile pull-down menu for the paired device and choose High Fidelity Capture (A2DP Source).
Now audio played from the smartphone will be played over the desktop speakers.
