Description

This is a simple guide on how I use ChatSecure with my local XMPP server for instant messaging.

Install ChatSecure

  1. Install ChatSecure and open it.
  2. Next enter in a master password and confirm it, this will be used to locally encrypt data.
  3. Then swipe to the Use Existing Account screen and tap on Add account.
  4. Enter in the and password for the account.
  5. Now tap in the blank space to start a message and select another user to begin chatting.
