Description

While working on a project, I found it necessary to use a custom icon. I quickly found that one does not just point a shortcut to a PNG to use an icon. So I found that using a piece of software called irfanview will allows the importing of various image formats, include .png, and export them to a proper .ico icon file. After setting up the application, just open up the image that you want converted then go to File -> Save As, and make sure to set the file type to .ico. Simple as that!
